
Every day our body creates new cells and gets rid of old cells. Every day we have a chance for burning and renewing our health. In today’s society, it can be difficult to make healthy life choices. There are tempting sugary and fatty choices everywhere we look.
It is important for our health to make informed decisions and educate ourselves on what our body needs to survive and what are surplus things in our life that are unhealthy choices and we need to try to avoid those elements to live long, healthy lives and have a body that is filled with energy and youthfulness.
Enemies of our body:
1. Alcohol – hard liquor, uncontained drinking (alcohol is a carcinogen)
2. Smoking of any form – damages the lungs and organs
3. Illicit drugs bought on the street include but are not limited to: methamphetamines, opiates like heroin, fentanyl, kratom, tranquilizers, benzodiazepines, and weed -marijuana. Many Illicit drugs nowadays are laced with fentanyl which can be deadly and addictive to people and it gets into their bodies without awareness of the dangers.
4. High sugary foods – corn syrup, many products have added sugars and corn syrup bringing extra unneeded calories into our diets. Checking labels can avoid the extra sugar that is not needed in our bodies
Treating our bodies well by avoiding harmful foods and drugs will create a healthier and longer life. Each day we can make a decision about what is right for us. Long-term stress also creates high risks in our body by elevating blood pressure and heart rate risking heart problems and stroke.
It is important to take time, refresh, rejuvenate, spend time in nature, have hobbies we enjoy, and pay attention to our body and mind when it tells us to take a break.
