Embracing My Substack Future: A Journey of Storytelling
After a transformative month on Substack, I’m thrilled to share how my Substack future is beginning to shape out. I’ve written a full report on Medium’s Substack Mastery here but this is the guts of it.
As a seasoned writer and editor with years of experience on Medium, I’ve found a new home where creativity and connection flourish. My love lies in crafting stories that blend exotic travel with intimate human experiences: tales that transport you to a Finnish sauna, a luxury cruise ship, or the majestic Meiji Shrine.
In my Substack publication, Unclad Author, I concentrate on writing light-hearted erotica that evokes genuine emotions. It’s a space where we can explore the art of creating narratives that are both sensual and profound. I’m excited about building a community where we support each other’s creative journeys, sharing insights, and fostering growth.
I’ve also embraced AI as a helpful assistant in this venture. While technology can’t replicate the depth of human emotion, it offers fresh perspectives that enrich the writing process. It can offer suggestions to strengthen a story or pick out inconsistencies and errors.
Monetisation is a new and empowering chapter in my Substack future. As an editor, I love dissecting stories—both mine and others’—to uncover deeper meanings and enhance the craft. I plan to offer analyses and insights, initially for free and eventually as part of a value-driven service. I also plan to make stories that are already behind a paywall available to my paid subscriber base. With generous previews and links to alternate sources but still an aspect of genuine value.
For lighter musings, Just Britni is where I let my hair down. Here, you’ll find a mix of stories that spark joy and curiosity, reflecting whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.
