A new tool to give parents and teachers alike, to help children with the onset of autism became a very important side benefit of a Tunnel Book. I observed this reality for many years. I substituted many elementary schools in Polk County, Florida. I observed the child viewing the Tunnel Book while I asked the autism child some questions about the book. They automatically started to talk. I noted this great leap forward, as those children do not like to look one straight in the face. I think we must try different tactics to help autistic sufferers find a way to overcome this affliction. I received a Master’s Degree in The Science of Learning from Scranton University, which led me to the creation of Tunnel Books.
