There’s a new piece of AI magic. The Google NotebookLM software alllows you to load up various sources – a file, pasted text, URLs – into a dedicated AI model and ask questions based on the sources. Request an analysis or how the situation might unfold or a story based on the situation; whatever.
There’s a new wrinkle. You can generate an entertaining, engaging, natural speech podcast as a conversation that summarises the notebook sources, picking out highlights, raising interesting points, doing a “deep dive”.
I wrote a story last year, published in an Australian speculative fiction anthology, and asked Google NotebookLM to generate a podcast.
