If everyone else has computers, but I live without one, I’d still have my phone—a computer in disguise.
Yet, even with that tether, I’d feel the weight of limited access. I’d catch only fragments of the world while others live immersed in it.
I might start to see how the poor among us adapt, relying on ingenuity to stretch small screens into lifelines, and how that quiet struggle reveals a deeper truth about what’s truly essential.
