Desperate for a way forward, I tried getting an agent, only to face rejections and silence. Then my muse whispered: “Just start… do it yourself, Scarlet.” So, I shifted gears and compiled my short stories from Medium and Substack into what has now become my debut collection: Scarlet Yearnings: Stories of Love and Desire.
