What does it mean to be spiritual? Is it about believing in Angels or in God?
I think that spirituality is about a strong connection to the Source of all things.
It makes sense that Source, or “God,” is an infinite field of potential.
And that potential is an infinite consciousness and intelligence.
Source endowed human beings with free-will, and it is our interaction and our use of free-will that creates “bad things,” not Source or God.
Being spiritual doesn’t require following a religion, going to church, making donations, or praying or being good all the time.
It is a way of living where you are connected to your Soul and to Source.
Being spiritual doesn’t mean that you are kind to everyone or agree with everyone.
It means that you have very good awareness of what you do or how you do and why, and you are always seeking to refine or tweak these, in order to co-create a kind world.
Imagine a world with everyone having their needs met.
Imagine peace and love the predominant vibe across Earth.
The oracle at Delphi was right in saying:
“Know thyself.”
It’s in knowing your own personality, character traits, and responses, and motivations, that you can look at yourself from a distance and review how effective they are in meeting your goals.
Spirituality starts with you.
It starts with you recognizing that we are all, bar none, parts of the one Source.
A spiritual person tries not to hate anyone.
I believe that consciousness is the ability to know and to perceive.
It is a fundamental feature of physical matter and a template for awareness.
It is an animating force from Source whereby forms are manifested as seemingly solid matter.
Every single particle in existence has an “unimaginably simple” form of consciousness, according to Philip Goff, a philosophy professor at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
There is some inherent subjective experience of consciousness, or awareness of itself, in even the tiniest particle.
These particles then come together to form more complex forms of consciousness, such as humans’ subjective experiences.
To me, being spiritual means being aware that everything is a stream of consciousness from Source, here to support harmony on Earth among everything that is.
Why it is so hard is because human beings, Souls in incredibly dense form, with a complex brain capacity and freewill, have become nearly completely disconnected from Source.
It is when we feel that we are ALL an inseparable and intrinsic part or fragment of Source (or God) and we are open to tapping into the realm of possibilities; that we can make sense of our experiences as human beings.
My blog, “Soul Connexions” seeks to share my learned knowledge and my personal experiences, in order that the Self teams up with Source via the Soul, for the happiness and good health of the Self, and in turn for the well-being of all.
