You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?
I read this article in The New York Times! He dreamed of escaping the Gaza strip, but the World could do nothing, but watch him burn alive! He had written impassioned pleas on social media, and posted videos of his family’s plastic tent, asking for help to get out of the Gaza strip- Shaaban Al- Dalou. How impotent and powerless we the people of the rest of the World are!?
If I had the power to change anything with the help of a magic Genie, it would be great. Being human, it is natural to be selfish and to wish for riches, good health and happiness for myself. So how would I reconcile the principles of altruism with my own selfish needs?
I wish that the magic Genie would give us
1) the power to end violence all over the world,
2)the means to end poverty and hunger worldwide
3) A magic ring with me as a bearer that could uplift the condition of everyone I meet, including myself!
Seriously, the last wish is in keeping with the tradition of what we could wish for if such a fantasy would come true.
I sincerely wish that the violence, poverty, malnutrition and hunger that prevail all over the world could be wiped out!
I sincerely wish that the war in Palestine and Istael would end!
I sincerely wish that the war here in Manipur between Meiteis and Kukis would end!
And if a magic Genie would suddenly appear and help us, then I would urge him to help us with all these and not merely be restricted to three wishes!
