Dear Friends of ILLUMINATION,
Last month, we started creating new collections as part of our new curation initiative Be Friend of ILLUMINATION introduced by our chief editor Dr Yildiz to amplify content and find more readers for them. We also started the publishing process as a supplementary team to relieve the workload of the ILLUMINATION publications and focused on delayed stories. Our readers and writers enjoyed this initiative.
While publishing stories especially from ILLUMINATION, we list some valuable stories to share with you. Partnering with ILLUMINATION-Curators team we will give our readers more options in 2025. We hope you find some interesting pieces in these fresh collections. They cover multiple topics. Here is our latest collection:
Episode #11: Curated Collection for and from the Friends of ILLUMINATION
Some stories that we published and enjoyed reading. We hope more readers will enjoy them! Join us on Slack workspace if…medium.com
The purpose is to increase the visibility of our writers and offer some great pieces to our readers. Please consider engaging in these stories and sharing them on your socials so that more readers can find them.
We will have more curation activities to create vibrancy on this platform and will initiate them soon. One of them is to feature one author daily and introduce their impactful stories. We created a sample one by using the outstanding story of Dr. Yildiz, as he is the brainchild of this initiative, giving us this opportunity.
Please feel free to nominate your stories or those writers you admire. You can leave comments on stories or contact our account on Slack so that we can add them to our to-do list. The channel name on Slack is: #nominated-stories-for-friends-of-illumination.
If you don’t have access to Slack please contact Dr Mehmet Yildiz (Main) via his website contact form so he can invite you. It is free and moderated with many perks for writers and readers. More info is in our newsletter.
We made some changes to our publications and they are reflected in updated submission guidelines linked below:
ILLUMINATION, Curated Newsletters, SYNERGY (Newsletter Booster), Technology Hits, ILLUMINATION Book Chapters, Readers Hope, and Magnetic Newsletter Pro.
We also have more focus on Substack to integrate it with Medium to support our writers better and give more options to our subscribers.
To this end our chief editor created a Substack Mastery Boost Pilot initiative which has started the testing phase in November 2024. It is planned to end in December 2025 to make it a low cost education and marketing tool for freelance writers. A new team Substack Boost Pilot will coordinate these activities. We are excited 137 founding members joined the program and some have become sponsors.
Dr Yildiz guides freelance writers through his Content Marketing Strategy Insights. He wrote two books to guide our writers. His Substack Mastery book which became a bestseller in its category in 2024 was read by thousands of freelance writers and help hundreds to start Substack.
Today his new book for advanced writers was published to guide them in 2025. He posted the introduction chapter earlier today to celebrate the launch of the book
