Submission Guidelines
Rules and Policies
- No plagiarism, defamation, or harmful content.
- Include copyright-free visuals with appropriate credits.
- Declare affiliate links in your stories.
- AI-generated and meaningless content is not accepted.
Tips for Success
- Write content that offers insights, solutions, and inspiration.
- Organize your ideas into concise and reader-friendly stories.
- Stay honest and back your claims with facts and evidence.
- Ensure your drafts are well-edited and error-free.
- Use visuals and interactive elements to connect with readers.
- Submit your stories as draft. Exceptions apply.
- Include a brief author bio and links to your newsletter or story.
Prerequisites
1 — You must have a Medium free or paid.
2 — You need to be part of one of the program tiers such as free, $5, or $15 plan.
3 — You need to have a Substack publication, a Patreon account, a Beehiiv account, or a mailing list through Covertkit, Ghost, or others.
4 — You must be member of ILLUMINATION Slack workspace.
5 — You must take your writing business seriously. This pub is not a story collection but a connection tool.
What Can You Contribute
If you are a free member you can submit one introductory story about your writing business such as a Substack publication, a Patreon one, or your website. We will provide more guidance on this.
If you are tier 2 member, you can submit up to 10 stories monthly related to your writing or other business.
If you are a tier 3 member, you can submit up to 30 stories related to any business.
Tier 2 and 3 stories will be curated, distributed to our subscribers, and boosted externally for further visibility and potentially to generate business.
How to Apply
First you need to apply to be a writer for the publication. You can send your Medium ID through our writer registration portal.
Secondly, you need to be part of the program by subscribing one of our three Substack newsletters in the landing page for Substack Mastery Boost pilot program explained in our website.
