We live in a toxic culture of chaos, with much suffering and trauma.
As a result, we become “stuck” in habitual patterns and behaviours.
Not understanding our trauma can make us feel tense and anxious, becoming numb and disconnected from ourselves and others. We stay stuck in an “emotional whirlwind”.
In the Healing Days webinars, with Gabor Maté and others, such as Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk, their teachings and practices for healing resonated strongly.

We can influence and control the direction of our healing, by following their guidelines and practices, and understanding what trauma really is. It’s often misunderstood, and not what we believe it is.
