Something I Do Which Is Different From How I Was Raised
Papa raised us to be what we want to be. In our time, the cherished professions were to become Doctors, Engineers, IAS officers, etc. Most of my friends from LFS became doctors.
Though I was not forced into any profession, I ultimately became a teacher at our University. This was a respectable profession. I ought to have been satisfied with it. I should have been content with it, worked at it, and grown in it.
I was not fulfilled. There was something missing in me. I couldn’t dedicate myself fully to my chosen profession. It was much later, after I started joining Law of Attraction classes, that I found a new passion: writing. It fulfilled me in a way that teaching Economics couldn’t.
Now, I not only write for Medium, but I also write lyrics, create music, and have opened YouTube channels. I have thus branched into things my parents would never have expected of me.
