A Retired Clinical Psychologist, Investor, and Author

I am a retired clinical psychologist, administrator, and owner of a rehabilitation clinic we founded over 40 years ago.

In addition, I have been helping investors reach their goal of attaining sufficient income to retire comfortably.

Subscribers to our newsletter who have mirrored our exclusive RODAT Portfolio currently have over $139,000.00 in annual dividend income.

My newsletter, Retirement: One Dividend at a Time, has published over a thousand articles in the last twelve years, beginning on Seeking Alpha, where I was ranked #1 in the “Retirement” category for many years.

I now offer my newsletter on Substack and Medium as well as directly to subscribers through email.

We offer an exclusive chat forum for subscribers only, where we discuss investment and trading issues of the day and investment ideas. Mobile texts are sent to subscribers when immediate trades are suggested at advantageous pricing and high dividend yield opportunities present themselves.

Subscribers also receive a custom digital tool I’ve designed that will help you track the income from the RODAT Portfolio as well as the income you derive from your own portfolio. (This is a $99.95 retail value).

Several other digital tools that will help you reach your goals can be found here:

I write where the fields of behavioral finance and stock market investments intersect. The bottom line is that investors are often their own worst enemies, selling out of good positions when fear strikes.

If an investor simply invests in accidentally high dividend yielders when other investors panic and hand them stock at panic-induced prices, the investor can build a solid, dividend growth portfolio that will expand income at a pace greater than inflation.

For over 60 years, I have managed several portfolios composed of investments accumulated over my professional career. Since the financial crisis of 2008, I have employed specialized, customized dividend growth strategies aimed at enhancing and growing a dividend income stream.

Since December 24, 2014, I have demonstrated on Seeking Alpha, a specialized site for serious investors, the ongoing construction and portfolio management of the Fill-The-Gap Portfolio aimed at highlighting strategies investors may utilize to close the gap between an average Social Security benefit and the much greater costs faced in retirement.

This portfolio has outperformed all of the broad market indexes by a very wide margin, growing dividend income and total portfolio value consistently, even in periods when the broader indexes struggle in negative territory.

I write on Medium.com and Substack.com to inform and educate my readers.

Thank you for subscribing to newsletters on Substack.
