I am a retired Aerospace executive converted to a writer of the human truth as I see it.

One of my basic truths is that “Work makes man honorable.” Today, I work at writing the human truth, in any environment, as I see it.

My writing started as a reaction to many things I read on social media from people who have forgotten where we come from, what it cost us to be free, and believe a government exists to give them an easy life.

For this reason, my writing goes into social dynamics and change. Our government has changed from being a servant of the people to making the people servants. The incomprehensible war in Ukraine, where hard-working people with brilliant knowledge and a knack for invention are being slaughtered by an imperialistic and obtuse country with our help. The rest of humanity watches this being done. A president I believed in when I voted for him, who acts as senile as the last president we had.

We forgot he is a salesman and sold us a real time lie when he kept saying “Make America Great Again.” He is NOT going to do it, if there is time, after he is gone, WE will have to do it. God willing, as my mother use to say.

I am fascinated and alarmed at the environment we are living in where we, the people, are treated as pawns in a game of chess. Without concern of our opinion.

I believe, where we are violates every truth we learned when we study the struggles we went through to create our country and realize, we are doing exactly the opposite today.

My background, not only as an executive that has to see the big picture but, my rich family* history, and my struggles in life alone since I was seventeen, has helped me tremendously to see humanity as a traveler through the universe that can either work together or destroy ourselves as if we were a biological experiment gone wrong.

*Supporting all of the above are things I learned as described in “MyStory,” “My Father,” and my own experiences like, “Things That Happen in School,”and “Yo Para Que Nací?,” taking direction from my mother in “The Offer I Could Not Refuse,” surviving the biggest Soccer Stadium Riot in the history of the sport, and surviving abusive Communist teachers.

There is a Human Quality that only people, faced with the truth of “life” in and “either/or” condition understand, thus the famous quote from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy:

Bravery takes you through the most unimaginable hardships to finally reward you with Victory.

It is a very hopeful and historic message, however, the same words of bravery can also reward you with a loss as can read in “The Battle of Arica.” As I learned when I was seven years old and played the part of Colonel Bolognesi who died in Arica after exalting his troops to “Fight to the Last Bullet.”

That is the reality I grew up knowing.
