Book Author, Teacher, Mom, MFA Student
My name is Lizzy and I’m an author, elementary school teacher, a mom and an MFA creative writing student. I started writing mental health blogs for trauma survivors on the CPTSDFoundation.com. I have written my own personal memoir called: The Sex-Offender’s Daughter and a follow up book called “Living with Complex PTSD.”
I have turned my experience of trauma and adversity into fiction. My Cedar’s Port series has themes of love, loss, second chances and self-redemption. In the Cedar’s Port series, strong characters like Navy veterans face off against murderers, psychotic maniacs and even drug cartels to get their second chance in life. The little coastal town set in North Carolina has seen it all. What will happen in the fifth book in the series called “Restoring Hope,” due in late 2025?
