Mental Health Coach and Spiritual Leader

Hi! I’m Wendi Gordon, a former pastor who is now a mental and spiritual health writer, speaker, support group leader, and coach. I’m also the creator of the “Changing Lives” blog/podcast.
I have years of experience supporting people who are grieving losses, going through tough times, and questioning spiritual beliefs. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, a Master of Divinity Degree, and I’m a NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group Facilitator.
But my most valuable experience has come from facing and overcoming significant challenges to my own mental and spiritual health. Those challenges have included the painful and unexpected end of my former career and a subsequent depression that almost killed me. What I’ve learned and done as I’ve coped with and recovered from those challenges has changed my life and led to new and more satisfying work.
I use my personal and professional experience and share the resources and practices that have helped me change my life to help others change theirs in multiple ways. The most effective ways are my private coaching and support groups, because they are personal, in-depth conversations about specific issues people are struggling with and changes people want to make.
See examples of other ways I help change lives on my writing portfolio and LinkedIn profile. To learn more about my background, you can check out an interview story published by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, leader of the ILLUMINATION community, on Medium and Substack.
