For those who haven’t met me yet, coming from a science and technology background for over four decades, I am dedicated to keeping technologists, health scientists, and healthcare professionals informed on emerging research and innovations within the healthcare industry, paving the way for Medicine 3.0.
In previous articles, I have highlighted that our current healthcare system — often referred to as Medicine 2.0 — remains largely reactive, focusing primarily on addressing health issues after they arise, with less emphasis on prevention. Medicine 3.0, however, is set to revolutionize this approach, placing a greater focus on preventative healthcare, not “sick care”, while still maintaining its critical role in recovery.
As a technologist and scientist with a deep research focus on healthcare and life sciences, I have come across a groundbreaking tool that has the potential to revolutionize prenatal care: Sonio.
