Every writer needs an “About Me” story. 

I think it’s a non-professional writer bio that tells readers who you are and shows your writing prowess.

Whether you decide to write on Substack or Medium, it’s quite necessary. 

I wrote one yesterday after Dr. Yildiz’s recommendation. 

If you don’t know him, Dr. Mehmet Yildiz is the Chief Editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium. 

I strongly advise any new writer to join ILLUMINATION and read everything the good doctor has written, especially on the subject of Medium, writing on Medium, and writing in general. 

And writing and publishing an “About Me” story is very essential if you’re new or established. 

People love reading personal stories, and you can be that story.
