After I was accepted into ILLUMINATION, I got an email and signed up for Slack. It’s been a few months, so I don’t remember every detail.
I sent a thank you note to Dr. Yildiz, and he replied. I felt honoured. Upon his advice, I wrote an “About Me” story. I have had the singular opportunity to learn from his articles since that day.
Anyone who has interacted with Dr. Yildiz will notice he’s a kindhearted man. It’s easy to see because kindness is rare.
That inspired me to write about my interactions and online friendships with some writers I met on Medium.
