It’s so easy to do. You share your dreams with someone and they immediately shoot you down, or you talk yourself out of your heart’s desire without giving it a chance. You will face discouragement and failure in life, but you have to shrug it off and keep going. “Obstacles are there to make you work harder,” is a quote from “The Last Lecture.” I remind myself of that quote often.
