THE KEYS WE FORGE

“Urrrgghh!”

The sound of frustration from yet another failed attempt.

Keys lay cold and heavy in surrender — rusted and bent, whispering stories of doors they could not open.

Frustration mounted.
Anger rose.
And finally, they gave up, cursing life for its cruelty.

But the truth is, the door isn’t the same for everyone.

Some keys fit easily.
Others take years to turn.
And for some, their keys are forged in the process of self-realization.

Yet half of humanity still struggles to grasp this truth.
Why is this so?
What lies behind this mystery?

Our lives are a journey along a path.

The first few miles glitter with gold, but in the blink of an eye, we can stumble into a realm of darkness and void.

Not everyone will reach the top — this truth is firmly rooted in the soil of life.
When striving for the peak, our efforts defy comparison.

Life hands us the same stone and chisel,
but no two hands carve alike.

Our barriers and setbacks also differ.
• Some see their obstacles as dead ends.

• Others view them as hurdles, needing only a single leap.

• And some face cliffs, demanding wings they do not yet have.

In the end, it is not the obstacle itself,
but how we face it,
that shapes our journey.

Our paths are unique, and what awaits at the finish line is a reflection of our carving — not the state of our chisels.

The earth holds both the blessed and the broken.
In this contrast, we find ourselves questioning the very purpose of living.

Life gives us doors, but not all keys fit. Some we find, some we lose, and some we must forge ourselves.
