When it comes to my kids, I make sure I incorporate healthy and nutritious ingredients. My son is a “selective eater” . So, I have to choose my meal plans wisely and smartly.
These pancakes are the ones that he would devour in a second. They are not only healthy but delicious too.
Without further ado, lets see the recipe.
Ingredients:
- Flour ( 3/4th cup)
- Oats ( 1/2 cup)
- Egg ( 1 whole)
- Salt ( a pinch)
- Butter ( 1 tbsp)
- Milk ( As needed)
- Mixed Nuts Powder ( 1 tbsp)
- Flaxseeds ( 1 tsp)
- Dates Syrup ( To drizzle on top)
- Desi ghee ( for cooking)
Method:
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl i.e. flour, oats, nuts powder, salt, flaxseeds.
- Then add egg and butter.
- Give them a quick stir.
- Now add milk and use it according to the consistency of the batter that you want.
- Now add 1 tbsp desi ghee in a pan.
- Pour in the mixture and let it cook.
- * I do not add sugar in the mixture like all typical recipes. This is because I will drizzle dates syrup on top of the prepared pancakes.
One Bonus tip
You can also add mashed fruits in the mixture like banana, blueberry etc.
My son sometimes eat it, sometimes he does not, so I stay with the basic recipe mostly.
