This page is for ILLUMINATION Registration Portal and explains how to apply to ILLUMINATION publications on Medium and Substack as a writer and book author. Please read the next few paragraphs carefully before filling out the form. This is not an inquiry form. It is a writer’s application form only. For any inquiries or issues about your stories, please use this link
We first provide a bit of background info about our publications, and we show how to join illumination on Medium to fill out the form below by sending your Medium ID accurately.
Around 30% of applicants send wrong or misspelled IDs, so we cannot add them, and there is no way to inform them about it.

We strive to empower our writers and support our readers. We give a voice to all ethical writers at any level (absolute beginners and the most accomplished ones). We create a collaborative atmosphere by cross-pollinating them with support.
New Writers, please review our onboarding pack before submitting your stories to our publications. This will help your stories get published faster. If your questions are not covered in this welcome pack, please contact Dr. Mehmet Yildiz or his backups Dr Mike Broadly, or Aiden on the Slack workspace directly. For delayed publishing, you can log your inquiry using a link to the virtual helpdesk on Slack. If you have a really urgent inquiry, please contact Dr Yildiz via this form. He will get back to you ASAP. Remember, he is very busy supporting thousands of writers in addition to his full-time job. He does not earn income from publications and does it only as a give-back activity.
Our publications operate on Medium. Therefore, we need your account ID to get writer access to our publications.

It is free for creators, but if you are a freelance writer and grow your business, you can be a paid member of Substack Mastery or Illumination Library for $5 to benefit from our marketing service managed by professionals. This is not a generic inquiry form. We solve issues in the Slack Workspace.
The most important information is your Medium ID. If you can’t provide your Medium ID, we cannot add your account, as it is the only way to register writers on publications. We need your Medium ID to give you writer access. By submitting this form, you consent to your Medium ID and email address being used in correspondence for publication activities such as informing you of your participation, featuring your stories, and updating publication in Substack newsletters. Your contact details are kept safe and private. We delete them upon request if you leave our publications. You can leave our pubs or unsubscribe from our newsletter at your convenience. We offer a free service on both Medium and Substack.
