Why I Am Launching This Innovative Program in 2026
For decades, I have seen experts, scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders in different disciplines struggle with the same painful reality: they have valuable knowledge, but no clear pathway to turn it into a book, or they were exploited by vanity publishing.
I want to offer a unique path to address this pain point gradually. I know the industry well, navigating its ups and downs for a long time.
The barriers for creators and book authors are common. Being an expert in an area or just having writing skills is not enough to become a successful book author.
Writing a book can be stressful and time-consuming. Line editing is expensive. Formatting is technical and costly, too. Traditional publishing raised the bar too high, and only 1% of the best consider themselves lucky to be selected. Even the selected ones are unhappy because the royalties are negligible.
Publishing platforms are confusing. Marketing, promotion, and distribution require stamina and expertise that most new authors do not have or have no time to allocate.
Even when a manuscript is finished, many books never see the light of day, or worse, they are self-published in haste and lost in a sea of unread titles.
I know writers who couldn’t even sell a single copy on Amazon despite the platform having a massive reach. It is neither a problem of the platform nor the fault of beginners. Writing, marketing, and selling are very different skills, and all are required for indie authors.
The market is highly competitive, and only those with exceptional skills and a substantial network succeed.
Here’s Why I Feel Confident About This New Initiative
I know these struggles because I lived them myself and observed them in others. Over the years, I have written, edited, and published 50+ books across different categories, some of which became bestsellers.
I mastered the workflows of distribution companies like Amazon KDP, Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, and others, and learned what works and what fails in global distribution.
In parallel, I built a robust content ecosystem that connects readers, sponsors, and creators across Substack, Medium, Patreon, Kit, LinkedIn, Goodreads, and multiple social media channels. I even created my own discount bookstore recently and introduced it in a story here. Getting my first Woopayment felt like earning a million dollars.

How this Pilot Program Will Work
The principle is simple: You write the book. I handle everything else. We share royalties 50/50. No gimmicks, no hidden cost, no forcing to buy your own books. You don’t even have to market it, as I will shoulder that duty through my other initiative, the Substack Mastery Boost program tools.
Here is what I provide:
Editing & Quality Assurance: Professional editing and curation to meet global publishing standards. I will guide you during the writing process as a consultant, and when the manuscript is complete, I will serve as a line editor, which is a very costly process for indie authors.
Formatting: Preparing your manuscript for print, digital, and audio releases using my established templates. Formatting is also a costly process for indie authors.
Publishing & Distribution: Using Draft2Digital’s Split Pay system, I will publish your book globally, and royalties will be automatically divided in a fair amount, 50/50. Distribution will cover many book stores, including Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Everand, digital libraries, and more.
Marketing and Promotion: I will leverage my network, established content ecosystem, Substack Mastery boost program, multiple Substack newsletters, segmented email lists, curated feeds, blog posts, and global networks on Substack, Medium, Patreon, LinkedIn, WordPress, and social platforms like Reddit, Quora, X, Tumblr, and Facebook to promote your book to a ready audience. I also have hundreds of landing pages.
Here is what you provide:
Your Manuscript: The Intellectual Foundation of the Book. You focus on your expertise in your captivating style, and I ensure it reaches the world as a professionally edited and formatted masterpiece. The content needs to be high-quality, important, and relevant to a broad audience unless it is a specialized book. You may wonder what I mean by quality, as it is a subjective matter.
Here Are the Prerequisites for Participation
This program is built on quality and credibility. To protect the integrity of the books published under this initiative, the following conditions apply:
Important Topics Only: Manuscripts must cover meaningful, high-value subjects for readers. I do not attach my name as editor or publisher to works that lack expertise, depth, breadth, rigor, and relevance.
High-Quality Writing: Submissions must be original, well thought-out, free of fluff, and evidence-based. AI-generated manuscripts are not accepted, so I will not waste my editing time on them. However, if you are not a native speaker, I am happy to improve your language without changing your content and voice. I have been doing it for many years.
Fiction or Poetry Submissions: My expertise is primarily in non-fiction. Fiction manuscripts may be considered, but they will require external editing through my trusted business partners. This one will be negotiable. Poetry is fine, but I don’t edit poetry, so I might reduce my commission to 20% for them. However, finding poetry readers can be very challenging, so I don’t want to give you false hopes.
Exceptional Cases: For certain fields, such as technology and healthcare, I may also contribute as a ghostwriter. This is a separate offering and will be introduced in another post. The rates are different for the writing and editing combo.
These prerequisites are not meant to exclude but to ensure that every published book upholds the highest standards, delivers genuine value to readers, and strengthens the credibility of all participants for growth.
My goal is to raise your profile by publishing a book, as it is a powerful growth tool and distinguishing factor in the competition for creators.
Legal and Privacy Considerations
To maintain transparency and comply with global publishing standards, all participating authors must be aware of a few legal and privacy requirements:
Real Identity Required for Payments: While you are free to publish under a pen name for public visibility, platforms such as Draft2Digital require your real legal name, bank account details, and tax information to process royalty payments. This information remains private and is not shared publicly.
Contractual Agreement: Before beginning, each participant will enter into a clear, simple agreement that defines roles, responsibilities, the 50/50 royalty split, and termination rights. This ensures complete legal clarity for both parties.
Rights Ownership: Authors will always retain ownership of their intellectual property. The program does not take away your rights to your manuscript. Instead, we enter into a royalty-sharing publishing partnership with clear deliverables.
Privacy Protection: Personal and financial data provided for distribution (such as legal names or account details) are processed securely through the distribution platforms (e.g., Draft2Digital, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble) and are never disclosed in public channels. Your pen name remains your public identity if you choose one.
Pen Names and Branding: You may write and publish under a pen name, which is a common and accepted practice. The only requirement is that your legal identity is verified in the publishing backend for compliance with payment and tax regulations.
Invitation to The Pilot for only 100 Writers in 2026
I will begin with 100 selected writers as a pilot program. I like stretching myself, but I know I can’t handle more than 100 in a year by myself with my other commitments and obligations. Exceeding this might cause burnout, which is undesirable.
This pilot will allow me to refine the process, maintain quality, and demonstrate scalability. If the pilot becomes successful, I will engage accomplished partners to help perhaps 1000 or more writers in 2027 and beyond.
In summary, as a qualified book author, you will:
- No upfront payment for editing, formatting, or promotion
- Retain 50% of royalties automatically via Draft2Digital’s split-pay feature, going to your bank account.
